Cessna Launches Single-Engine Aircraft Safety Education Initiative
WICHITA, Kan., Dec. 2, 2011 — Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, has launched a safety initiative to educate 100- and 200-series single-engine piston aircraft owners around the world about new supplemental aircraft inspection procedures that will be added to Cessna service manuals.

FAA Creates New Laser Web Page to Help Make Reporting Easier
Washington, D.C. – In a continuing effort to combat the growing problem of lasers directed at aircraft, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has created a new website to make it easier for pilots and the public to report laser incidents and obtain information on the subject, FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt announced today.
