| Auburn University has been actively involved in aviation education since 1941, and has consistently been a leader in aviation education and research. Auburn's aviation programs are accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI), the agency responsible for academic accreditation of aviation and aerospace educational programs. |

| Aviation Degree Programs: |
- Aviation Management Undergraduate Program: Aviation management focuses on the knowledge and skills airline and other professionals in aviation need to have. Students learn how to be effective managers by understanding all different aspects of airline and general aviation operations. The program prepares students for positions in airlines and corporate aviation organizations, as well as with the federal and state governments, and as Airport Managers. The Aviation Management programs, both Management and Professional Flight were recently accredited by CAA, the Council on Aviation Accreditation.
- Professional Flight Management: Both degree and non-degree flight programs are offered
