| UAF has seven campuses across the state, and its 11,034 students come from all 50 states and from 47 foreign countries. Faculty teach classes at every level, so you can build relationships with professors right from the start. Undergraduates make up 89 percent of the total student body, and a lot of students are nontraditional -- they've returned to school to start a new phase of their life. |

- Professional Piloting: The UAF Community and Technical College offers an associate of applied science degree in professional piloting. With more pilots and aircraft per capita than any other state, the importance of aviation to the Alaskan economy and life-style is unparalleled.
- Aviation Maintenance Technology: The UAF Community and Technical College aviation maintenance technology program is one of the only FAA-certified, Part-147 school programs in the nation that can be completed in just 12 months. The program offers an associate's degree in aviation maintenance and certificates in airframe, powerplant, or airframe and powerplant.
