Accelerated Pilot is an online flight school for people learning to fly. The aircraft is an expensive place to learn something for the first time. At roughly $300 an hour, the meter runs whether you are working through a new skill or repeating a checklist you could have rehearsed at home. Many students reach their first solo well past the FAA's 40-hour minimum, and a lot of that extra time goes to fundamentals that don't require an airplane at all.

Our flagship course, Learn to Fly Solo, moves that early learning into an immersive mixed-reality simulator. You fly the procedures in a faithfully modeled cockpit before you start an engine. Pattern work, radio calls, checklist flows, and the sight picture for a stabilized landing become familiar on your own schedule, repeated as many times as you need.

The method is a deliberate-practice loop: brief, fly, debrief, log. You set up each session with a clear objective, fly it, review what happened, and record it, the same loop a good instructor runs in the airplane. Two tiers fit different learners. Self-study gives you the full curriculum and simulator scenarios to work through independently. The coached tier adds one-on-one sessions with a certificated flight instructor who reviews your flights and corrects habits before they set.
