Air Sports

Air Sports is a hang-gliding and paragliding school serving Newcastle and the Hunter Valley in New South Wales. Its HGFA-approved novice courses use school equipment and progress students from gentle beach sand dunes to higher inland hills, leading toward a Restricted Pilot Rating.

The school also offers tandem hang-gliding and paragliding flights, including introductory flights that may allow passengers to handle the controls alongside an experienced pilot. Training is conducted at coastal and hill flying sites rather than Newcastle Airport.
