About American Air Flight Training

American Air Flight Training provides one-on-one ground, airplane and simulator instruction at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport in Atlanta.

Programs range from Private Pilot through Instrument, Commercial, multi-engine, flight-instructor and Airline Transport Pilot training. Specialty instruction includes aerobatics, tailwheel, spin and upset-recovery courses, glass-cockpit training, practice checkrides, and initial or recurrent training in Piper PA-46 aircraft and customer-owned airplanes.

Steve Shaner founded American Air Flight Training in 1986, and the school acquired the former Epps Flight School in 1999.
