About Colorado Soaring Association
Colorado Soaring Association owns and operates Owl Canyon Gliderport north of Fort Collins as a nonprofit, member-run soaring club. CFI-G instructors provide member training from primary glider skills through higher-performance sailplanes, cross-country soaring, mountain wave flying and winch launching.
The public can book scenic flights or introductory lesson packages that combine ground instruction with hands-on flight time and a short introductory membership. Club operations generally run on weekends and holidays, with some weekday activity, using club sailplanes, a towplane and both aerotow and winch launches.
