CUNY Aviation Institute at York College

CUNY Aviation Institute at York College is the aviation education and research center within York College's School of Business and Information Systems. Its current academic portfolio includes a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Aviation Management, an Aviation Policy minor and an FAA-approved Aircraft Dispatcher certificate program.

The management curriculum covers airline and airport operations, safety, policy, security, planning and related business subjects. The institute also connects students with industry research, internships and career opportunities. This is a campus-based management and dispatcher program, not a pilot flight school, so the misleading assignment to John F. Kennedy International Airport has been removed.
