EFAV - Escola de Formació Aeronàutica de Vilanova i la Geltrú

EFAV - Escola de Formació Aeronàutica de Vilanova i la Geltrú is a municipal aviation-maintenance school founded in 1985 and approved as an EASA Part-147 maintenance training organization. Its principal course provides the basic training for the LMA B1.1 licence category covering turbine-powered airplanes; after the required work experience, graduates can apply for the European aircraft-maintenance licence.

EFAV also administers official EASA B1.1 module examinations and offers the TMVO0109 professional certificate in auxiliary aeronautical-maintenance operations. The official Catalan name, accented city, Barcelona province, postal code and phone have been corrected. The unrelated Bellvei private-airstrip assignment has been removed because training is delivered at the school's municipal education facility.
