About Great Lakes Helicopter Corp

Great Lakes Helicopter is an Ontario career college and helicopter flight school established in 2003 beside the Region of Waterloo International Airport.

Programs include full- and part-time Commercial Pilot Licence training, part-time Private Pilot Licence training, night, Group IV instrument and instructor ratings, aircraft type ratings, airplane- and foreign-licence conversion, vertical-reference, spray and recurrent training. Instruction is available in English and French, and the fleet includes Robinson, Bell and Airbus helicopters.

The school also offers introductory flights and basic through complex-operations drone training. Its commercial group performs aerial photography and specialized aerial work, affiliated heliSIX handles tour bookings, and Rotor Services provides factory-authorized Robinson plus Bell and Airbus helicopter maintenance.
