About High Tide Aviation

High Tide Aviation operates Part 61 and FAA Part 141 flight training at Cape Fear Regional Jetport in Southport, with additional airplane campuses at St. Simons Island and Wilmington.

Airplane programs include Sport and Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, CFI, CFII, MEI, Multi-Engine and tailwheel training, along with structured professional-pilot and finish-up paths. Ground school, introductory flights, aircraft rental and a Redbird FMX simulator support the curriculum.

The Southport campus also provides advanced helicopter Instrument, Commercial, CFI and CFII training for pilots who already hold an airplane or helicopter certificate. High Tide's separate tour operation offers current airplane sightseeing flights from its three coastal locations.
