About Marshall Soaring Club
Marshall Soaring Club is a Soaring Society of America chapter based on the grass runways south of Brooks Field's main runway in Marshall, Michigan. The member-supported club provides glider instruction and operates on weekends and most major holidays from May through October, weather permitting, with midweek flying possible by arrangement.
Newcomers can begin with the SSA Fly A Sailplane Today package, which combines ground instruction, an introductory lesson, a pilot logbook and a temporary SSA membership. The club also offers public glider rides and gift certificates. Its training fleet includes a Schweizer SGS 2-33 and Grob 103 two-place sailplanes, supported by a CallAir A-9B towplane.
