About Mentone Flying Club
Mentone Flying Club is a nonprofit member-owned flying club at Fulton County Airport in Rochester, Indiana.
Club instructors provide Part 61 training for the Private Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating. Members train and fly two Cessna 172 Skyhawks and can use an FAA-approved Redbird FMX advanced aviation training device for private-pilot credit, instrument training and currency.
The club was incorporated in 1957 and moved from the former Mentone Airport to Fulton County Airport in 1981. It also operates recurring private-pilot ground school and holds monthly member meetings at the airport terminal.
