Mid Island Air Service - Brookhaven is the Shirley campus of a Long Island aviation company founded in 1946. The FAA Part 61 and Part 141 school offers sport, private, instrument, commercial, multi-engine, CFI, CFII, MEI and ATP training, including accelerated and specialty instruction.
The Brookhaven operation also provides introductory flights, ground school, aircraft rental, FAA knowledge testing and AeroCamp. Mid Island's broader services include maintenance, fueling, hangars, tiedowns, aircraft sales and charter.
