About Minneapolis College

Minneapolis College's Aircraft Maintenance Technician program prepares students to service, repair, overhaul and inspect aircraft systems, structures and engines and to take the FAA Airframe and Powerplant licensing examinations.

Students can complete an 83-credit A.A.S. or 68-credit diploma in a 25-student annual cohort over six continuous fall, spring and summer semesters. Courses run Monday through Thursday and combine lecture with hands-on laboratory work, diagnostics, technical manuals and federal aviation regulations.

Training takes place inside Delta Air Lines' Building C maintenance facility at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport, where the Delta partnership also supports commercial-aviation guest speakers and learning opportunities. The listing now uses the college's current public name, actual program location and current licensure contact.
