About Pinnacle Aviation Academy

Pinnacle Aviation Academy is a Carlsbad flight school based at McClellan-Palomar Airport and training pilots since 1997.

FAA-approved Part 61 and Part 141 pathways include Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot and multi-engine certificates, followed by CFI, CFII and MEI instructor courses. Discovery flights and aircraft rental support introductory and proficiency flying.

Pinnacle is a Cessna Pilot Center and a Liberty University Flight Training Affiliate, allowing eligible students to complete university flight labs at the academy. The Liberty pathway includes approved reduced-hour restricted ATP eligibility for qualifying graduates.
