About Ponderosa Aero Club

Ponderosa Aero Club is a member-owned 501(c)(7) nonprofit flying club serving Idaho's Treasure Valley from Boise Airport and a second location at Nampa Municipal Airport.

Authorized club instructors train members for Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, multi-engine and flight-instructor qualifications, along with backcountry instruction suited to Idaho operations. Training is arranged through individual instructors within the club rather than sold as a conventional public-school package.

The member fleet includes more than a dozen Cessna, Diamond, Piper and Mooney aircraft, giving pilots options for primary training, cross-country and complex or multi-engine experience. Full-time staff, safety activities and a volunteer board support the club community.
