Alamo Academies Aerospace Academy

Alamo Academies Aerospace Academy is a two-year dual-credit program through Alamo Colleges District for eligible San Antonio-area high-school juniors and seniors. Students earn high-school and college credit through hands-on aviation science, aircraft systems, electricity, precision measurement, maintenance, repair, and airport ground-operations coursework.

The FAA-accredited pathway includes aircraft structures and turbine-mechanic certificate options, an Aircraft Technology Occupational Skills Award, OSHA safety training, and a summer industry internship. The curriculum can support continued study toward FAA airframe and powerplant credentials; it is a youth college-and-career program rather than a pilot school at Stinson Airport.
