The Travel Academy

The Travel Academy is a Minnesota-licensed private career school in Eagan that has trained students for travel-industry work since 1984.

Its 120-hour flight-attendant course combines classroom study with a simulated cabin-work environment. Students practice preflight checks, boarding and deplaning, announcements, safety demonstrations, emergency equipment, aviation terminology, airport codes, time calculations and airline customer service.

Career preparation includes résumé and cover-letter development, airline applications, interview practice and workplace communication. The academy also offers broader travel, reservations, tourism and customer-relations training and is authorized to enroll eligible international vocational students.
