About Connecticut Parachutists, Inc.

Connecticut Parachutists, Inc. is a nonprofit, member-owned skydiving club and drop zone at Ellington Airport.

Tandem jumps introduce first-time participants to freefall. The Accelerated Freefall program follows the USPA Integrated Student Program, beginning with a ground course and instructor-assisted freefall and requiring at least 25 jumps for the USPA A License.

Licensed jumpers have access to Caravan and Cessna 182 aircraft, covered and heated packing areas, rental gear, load-organized events, video debriefing, camping and other club facilities. The club operates weekends and holidays and maintains limited winter jumping.
