About Arctic Flyers
Arctic Flyers is a family-operated Anchorage flight school based at Lake Hood and serving Alaska pilots since the late 1960s. It provides flight and ground instruction for private, instrument, commercial, CFI/CFII and ATP qualifications using Cessna 152 and 172 aircraft and a Piper PA-18 Super Cub.
Training is available on wheels and floats, with tailwheel, ski, gravel-strip, mountain, glacier, aircraft-systems and emergency-procedure instruction tailored to Alaska operations. Students also gain experience around Anchorage International Airport and Lake Hood's seaplane and gravel-strip environment.
