Hillsboro Aero Academy

Hillsboro Aero Academy has trained professional pilots since 1980 and operates Oregon campuses in Hillsboro, Troutdale and Redmond.

The Hillsboro and Redmond airplane programs cover Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, CFI, CFII and Multi-Engine Instructor training, with standard and accelerated schedules. The Troutdale-based Hillsboro Heli Academy provides Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI and CFII helicopter training plus mountain-flying and external-load courses. Pilot instruction is available under FAA Part 141 and Part 61, and joint FAA/EASA study is available for qualifying international students.

At the Hillsboro campus, the 12-month Aviation Maintenance Professional Program combines General, Airframe and Powerplant classroom and hands-on training using airplanes, helicopters and a Learjet 24.
