About Holloman AFB Aero Club

Holloman AFB Aero Club is a U.S. Air Force recreational flight-training center serving eligible members at Holloman Air Force Base.

The club provides Private Pilot ground school and instruction from FAA-certified instructors, introductory flights and proficiency support for pilots who already have training or logged time. Members can rent Cessna 172 and 182 aircraft and Diamond DA40s, with a Redbird FMX simulator available for procedure practice.

Eligibility includes active-duty and retired service members, Guard and Reserve personnel, Department of Defense and NAF employees, military contractors, Civil Air Patrol members and qualifying dependents.
