Marshall University Bill Noe Flight School - Wheeling delivers the flight-training portion of West Liberty University's Bachelor of Science in Aviation Commercial Pilot: Fixed Wing program.

West Liberty provides the degree's general-education courses, while Marshall provides aviation courses and hands-on training at Wheeling-Ohio County Airport. The FAA curriculum progresses through Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial single-engine and multi-engine training, CFI and CFII qualifications.

Students train in Marshall's Cirrus SR20 fleet and twin-engine aircraft. The joint program combines aeronautics, navigation, aviation science, safety and operations coursework with airport-based flight experience.
