California Hang Gliding

California Hang Gliding is a Pacifica-based hang-gliding equipment and training resource run by David Kiesling. New students are matched with local instructors based on location and experience; initial training begins on shallow hills with instructor-provided equipment and progresses toward higher launches and soaring skills.

The business also offers tandem discovery flights through a USHPA-certified tandem instructor, rents gliders to H3-and-higher pilots, and sells new and used gliders, harnesses, replacement parts, and related equipment. Inspection, maintenance, sail replacement, assembly, and test-flight services are available.
