Epic Flight Academy

Epic Flight Academy has operated from New Smyrna Beach Municipal Airport since 1999 and is the headquarters campus of a multi-state FAA Part 141 flight-school network. Its pilot curriculum runs from private pilot through instrument, commercial single- and multi-engine, CFI, CFII and MEI, using Garmin-equipped aircraft, simulators, ground school and structured career pathways.

New Smyrna Beach also offers Epic's six-month accelerated program covering private, instrument, commercial single-engine and commercial multi-engine ratings. Across North Dixie Freeway, the FAA Part 147 aircraft mechanic campus provides a 15-month airframe and powerplant program with hands-on labs and included tools and books. The certificate list now reflects the ratings Epic actually issues rather than treating its “ATP Flight Program” career pathway as a standalone ATP certificate.
