About Fox Valley Technical College

Fox Valley Technical College operates aviation programs from its Oshkosh facilities. The 60-credit Aeronautics–Pilot Training associate degree is FAA Part 141 approved and covers private pilot, instrument, commercial single- and multi-engine, CFI, CFII and MEI training, with qualifying graduates eligible for a reduced-hour restricted ATP pathway.

The college also offers aviation management and aircraft-electronics associate degrees and FAA Part 147 airframe, powerplant and combined Airframe & Powerplant mechanic diplomas. The maintenance and electronics programs are currently closed to new applications through at least 2026, while the live pilot-program page publishes later start terms and a structured admission process. The listing now uses the current pilot-program admissions contact.
