Guidance Helicopters is an FAA-approved helicopter school at Prescott International Airport. Its benchmarked career program takes a student from no experience through Private Pilot-Helicopter, Instrument-Helicopter, Commercial Pilot-Helicopter, Flight Instructor and Flight Instructor-Instrument in a planned 24-month sequence.Training combines flight and ground instruction with an online learning portal, mobile course tools, a safety-management system and X-Copter simulators configured to replicate the Robinson helicopters used in flight. Guidance also operates charter service and a full-service helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul facility.
