About Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology
Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology provides FAA-approved pilot and aviation-maintenance education in Tulsa.
The approximately 17-month Aviation Flight Associate of Applied Science program progresses through Private, Instrument and Commercial training in single- and multi-engine aircraft. Training uses more than 50 Cessna, Piper Archer and Piper Seminole aircraft, simulators and an advanced aviation training device at the college's Tulsa Riverside Airport facility. The Part 141 school has examining authority for Private Pilot and Commercial Single-Engine certificates, and qualifying graduates may pursue a Restricted ATP at 1,250 hours.
The FAA Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technology program offers on-campus and hybrid diploma and associate-degree paths covering Airframe and Powerplant subjects and eligibility for FAA mechanic testing. The Tulsa campus also offers Technology Management degree study.
