Susquehanna Flight Park

Susquehanna Flight Park is a dedicated foot-launch hang gliding school on a 40-acre training site near Cooperstown.

USHPA-certified instruction progresses from introductory ground school and low training-hill flights through Hang 1 beginner and Hang 2 novice requirements, mountain-flight preparation and advanced pilot development. The facility includes a classroom, five training hills and a mountain launch, allowing students to build takeoff, landing, turn and glide-control skills progressively.

Training takes place at the Hade Hollow Road flight park rather than at Cooperstown-Westville Airport. The school supplies equipment for its introductory training and does not offer tandem flights.
