Vaughn College Of Aeronautics And Technology

Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology is an aviation-focused college in Queens offering pilot, maintenance, air traffic control, dispatch, unmanned-aircraft, engineering and management education.

The Aircraft Operations B.S. combines Vaughn coursework with FAA Part 141 flight training through Heritage Flight Academy at Long Island MacArthur Airport. The pathway covers Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, multi-engine, CFI and CFII credentials and qualifies eligible graduates for a Restricted ATP at 1,000 hours.

Vaughn's Aviation Training Institute delivers an FAA Part 147 Airframe and Powerplant curriculum. Other current offerings include the FAA Enhanced Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiative, a 12-credit aircraft-dispatch program, a UAS Design, Application and Operation certificate, aviation-maintenance and aeronautical-sciences degrees, and airline and airport management study.
