About Vincennes University Aviation Technology Center
Vincennes University Aviation Technology Center provides two-year Aviation Flight Technology and Aviation Maintenance Technology programs in Indianapolis.
Flight students begin flying during their first week and train in university aircraft with university instructors at Eagle Creek Airpark. The program covers Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot and optional CFI preparation. Graduates may continue into Purdue University's bachelor's program at the center while working as instructors.
The maintenance program delivers 1,900 hours of hands-on training across airframe, powerplant, electrical, sheet-metal, composite, turbine and piston-engine subjects and prepares students for FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
