About WNC Aviation

WNC Aviation is an FAA Part 141 flight school in the Lacy Griffin Aviation Center at Asheville Regional Airport.

Training ranges from Private Pilot through Instrument, Commercial, multi-engine, CFI, CFII, MEI and Airline Transport Pilot credentials. The school also offers discovery flights, aircraft rental, mountain-flying, spin-recovery and pinch-hitter programs and simulator-supported professional-pilot preparation.

WNC Aviation is authorized to enroll M-1 international students and is approved for eligible veteran education benefits. Its partnership with Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College combines flight training with an associate degree and provides qualifying graduates a 1,250-hour Restricted ATP pathway.
