Wichita State University

Wichita State University is an aerospace-engineering university in Wichita's aviation industry cluster, distinct from the affiliated WSU Tech college.

Its College of Engineering offers ABET-accredited bachelor's study plus master's and doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering. Academic and research areas include aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, flight dynamics and control, aircraft design and space systems.

Students complete applied learning or research and use facilities associated with the National Institute for Aviation Research, wind tunnels, flight simulation and structures laboratories. Professional Pilot, A&P and UAS career programs are offered separately by WSU Tech.
