Air Sailing Gliderport

Description

Air Sailing Gliderport is a nonprofit educational soaring facility in Nevada's Warm Springs Valley, about 25 miles northeast of Reno.

Air Sailing owns and operates the private-use gliderport, tow planes, clubhouse, campground, hangar and tie-down facilities. Nevada Soaring Association is the resident club and provides glider access and instruction for members.

The 2026 program includes a five-day Thermal Camp for private glider pilots building thermalling and high-desert soaring skills, a Cross-Country Camp for more experienced pilots, scheduled flying weeks, local-area checkouts and an annual sports-class contest. Air Sailing was established in 1970 and has held the gliderport property for educational soaring use since 1997.
