Aviation Institute of Maintenance - Chicago is an FAA Part 147 aviation-maintenance school accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.

The Aviation Maintenance Technician certificate combines classroom study with hands-on work in airframe, powerplant and avionics subjects. Students practice aircraft weighing, magneto and reciprocating-engine work, safety wiring and sheet-metal fabrication.

The 137,992-square-foot campus includes a 32,000-square-foot hangar, airframe and powerplant laboratories, welding and paint rooms, an avionics laboratory and training aircraft.
