Able Flight expands access to aviation for people with physical disabilities. Its flagship scholarships support concentrated Sport Pilot training in adapted aircraft, while other awards can help qualified recipients pursue aviation career development.

Who can apply

Applicants must have a qualifying physical disability, be at least 17, be a U.S. citizen, hold a valid driver's license, provide medical documentation, and be able to safely operate the training aircraft with available adaptations. Additional requirements vary by scholarship type.

What the award may cover

Programs can fund an intensive Sport Pilot training course through solo and checkride preparation or provide support for eligible aviation career training.
