AWAM’s scholarship program supports aviation maintenance education and professional growth through a diverse set of sponsor awards. Although the association centers women in maintenance, the current program notes that many opportunities are open more broadly to students, technicians, military transitioners, and applicants of any gender.
Who can apply
Applicants must be AWAM members and satisfy both the program’s basic documentation rules and the sponsor criteria for each selected scholarship. Opportunities are not limited to women or students; some are open to active technicians, transitioning military members, and applicants of any gender.

Join or renew AWAM, review the current scholarship flyer, select no more than the permitted number of awards, and submit the required résumé, essays, recommendations, transcripts or certificates as one correctly ordered PDF.
