Description
AWA - Aeronautical Web Academy has trained airplane pilots and flight-operations officers in Portugal since 2008. Its headquarters and classrooms are in Prior Velho, while a fleet of about 20 aircraft and an FNPT II simulator operate from Hangar 15 at Cascais Airport.
Pilot training includes PPL(A), integrated and modular airline pathways leading through CPL(A), instrument and multi-engine qualifications, flight-instructor training, MCC, PBN, class ratings and aviation English. AWA also runs initial and refresher courses for flight-operations officers.
The academy holds Portuguese ANAC approvals PT.ATO.005 and P/OOV/03/04. AWA Technics provides aircraft maintenance through the same organization.
