Cambrian Aero Club

Description

Cambrian Aero Club, trading as Cambrian Aero Training, is a member-focused CAA Declared Training Organisation with a training centre at Navigation Park in Abercynon.

Its current ground-school portfolio covers airplane and helicopter PPL subjects, instrument and commercial foundations, radiotelephony training and testing, seaplane seamanship, and ground-instructor preparation. Blended options combine online study, distance learning, revision teaching and examinations.

The club also advertises instrument and night instruction, introductory flying days, pilot mentoring and touring activities at airfields across Wales and the Borders. Its DTO scope includes airplane land and sea class ratings and helicopter and night training. The club dates to 1997 and is not based at the formerly assigned Talgarth glider field.
