Description
Community College of Beaver County operates the James M. Johnson School of Aviation Sciences at Beaver County Airport. Its Professional Pilot and Advanced Piloting AAS programs combine college coursework with approved partner flight schools for private, instrument, commercial, multi-engine, CFI and CFII training.
The FAA Collegiate Training Initiative Air Traffic Control AAS teaches radar, non-radar and tower operations in the college's own control tower and includes Certified Tower Operator and CTI milestones. Aerospace Management and high-school aviation pathways round out the program portfolio. The airport identifier has been corrected from BFP to BVI, and stale personal contact details were replaced with current admissions information.
