Description

Derby Aero Club & Flying School operates from Derby Airfield at Egginton under Airspeed Aviation Limited.

Courses include the Private Pilot Licence and Light Aircraft Pilot Licence, with Instrument Rating (Restricted), tailwheel differences and radiotelephony training available to extend pilot skills. Its regulator-listed DTO scope also covers night, aerobatic, single-engine piston and touring-motor-glider training.

Introductory trial lessons are offered for new flyers, while qualified pilots can hire aircraft from a fleet that includes Cessna 140, 152 and 172 models and a Beagle Pup.
