Direct Connect Flight Academy's Dallas-area ATP-CTP location delivers the simulator portion of the academy's FAA-authorized Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program at Avenger Flight Group's Dallas 1 center in Fort Worth. Students complete four days of live virtual ground school before attending two days of simulator training.
The simulator syllabus includes four hours in a fixed-base training device and six hours in an Airbus A320 full-motion simulator. Training addresses navigation, flight-management automation, low-energy states, stalls, upset recovery and adverse-weather operations.
