Discover Paragliding

Description

Discover Paragliding teaches on Oregon's north coast near Warrenton and Sunset Beach. Its solo progression begins with a two-day introduction and continues through USHPA P1 Beginner and P2 Novice programs using ground handling, training-hill flights, and tow-launched instruction.

The school also provides advanced and special-skills clinics, reserve-system training, powered-paragliding instruction, tandem introductory experiences, and a three-part USHPA instructor-development pathway from an initial clinic through apprenticeship and instructor evaluation.

Master-rated instructors lead the program and also organize guided paragliding travel, including published Costa Rica and Colombia tours. Training takes place at beach and tow sites rather than Astoria Regional Airport.
