Description

Eastern Mennonite University's Bachelor of Science in Aviation and Leadership is a four-year, 120-credit collegiate professional-pilot program based at EMU's Lancaster site in Lititz.

Students earn the Private Pilot Certificate, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot Certificate with multi-engine training, and Flight Instructor Certificate. Ground and flight instruction is delivered with Aero-Tech Services, an FAA-approved Part 141 school at Lancaster Airport, while the degree adds leadership, safety, law, management and an aviation internship.

The program follows a cohort model with scheduled weekly flight slots and qualifies eligible graduates for the 1,000-hour restricted ATP pathway. Aviation instruction is primarily in person, with selected general-education courses online.
