Oregon Hang Gliding School

Description

Oregon Hang Gliding School teaches new and advancing hang-glider pilots through a staged curriculum based on United States Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association proficiency standards.

Programs include an extended interactive ground school, full-day introductory lessons with simulator work and supervised low flights, multi-day training packages, solo-then-tandem experiences and continuing instruction toward independent flying skills. Online lessons support rated pilots and students who want video-based launch and landing review, while visiting-pilot orientations cover local procedures.

Ground-school infrastructure is based at Corvallis Municipal Airport. Field instruction uses suitable tow or training-hill locations, with summer lessons also advertised around Newport and Cape Kiwanda near Pacific City.
