Description

Royal West Aviation Club is a member-based flying club and recognized training organization at Koksijde Air Base.

The club offers modular Private Pilot Licence training in airplanes, a Belgian ULM course for conventionally controlled ultralight airplanes and Private Pilot Licence helicopter training in a Robinson R44. Classroom theory for the airplane and ultralight routes is taught through the club's annual course cycle.

Flying members can train in or rent aircraft from the club fleet. Introductory and sightseeing flights introduce visitors to aviation and the Koksijde flying area. The organization was founded in 1948.
