About Barbers Point Flight School

Barbers Point Flight School has provided fixed-wing instruction at Kalaeloa Airport on Oahu's west side since 1992. Its published courses cover private pilot, instrument and commercial pilot training, beginning with discovery flights and supported by experienced instructors and a less-congested Class D training environment.

The fleet includes Cessna 150 and 172 models, Tecnam P2008 and P2010 aircraft, and new IFR-certified Tecnam P-Mentor trainers. An FAA-approved ALSIM training device supports Cessna 172 and instrument scenarios, while the school also provides aircraft rental, in-house maintenance support and an FAA/PSI knowledge testing center.
