About Central Georgia Technical College

Central Georgia Technical College offers Aviation Maintenance Technology at its Aerospace Training and Sustainment Center in Macon. The FAA Part 147-certificated program provides associate-degree and diploma routes, a combined Aviation Maintenance Technician certificate, and separate Airframe and Powerplant certificates.

Training covers the technical knowledge and hands-on skills used to inspect, diagnose and repair aircraft structures, systems, reciprocating and turbine engines. CGTC also maintains a Delta TechOps partnership focused on preparing and identifying future aviation mechanics. The obsolete Warner Robins campus and airport details have been replaced with the program's current Macon location and contact.
