JA Flight Training

JA Flight Training operates an FAA-approved Part 141 airplane school at Aurora Municipal Airport in Sugar Grove. Its structured career pathway progresses through Private Pilot, Instrument Rating and Commercial Pilot, with accelerated multi-engine, CFI, CFII and MEI courses also offered. Weekly ground school and flight-instructor certificate training support students entering either recreational or professional aviation.

Students train in a Cessna fleet and FAA-approved simulators, including fixed-base and full-motion devices. JA Flight also offers university-affiliate pathways through Purdue Global and Liberty University, a Southern Airways Express co-pilot program and preparation courses, plus Cessna Caravan initial and recurrent training.
